Mrs. Edna Ann ELMORE, 88 of 100 Englewood Dr, died at 1:55 p.m. Saturday in Culver Hospital after an illness of several weeks. A native of near Waveland, she was a daughter of William C. and Catherine DALEY BRANDON and was born Jan 28, 1878. She married Charles I. ELMORE on August 7, 1898. He died in 1958. Mrs. Elmore was a member of the Mace Methodist Church. She and her husband lived on a farm east of Mace until moving to Crawfordsville in 1948. Survivors include a son, Esten B. Elmore of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Mrs. Clyde Vannice of near Linden; four grandsons and 8 greats. A son, Cline Elmore died last November. Funeral services are announced for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Servies the minister and burial in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. -- kbz

Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Ann Elmore were held Tuesday afternoon in the Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Servies officiating. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were David Elmore; Thomas Elmore; Harold Everson; Julian Whitaker; Richard Swearingen and Harold Barclay. Flowers were carried by Maxine Black; Betty Hoover; Neva Love; Lucille Elmore; Ann Hughes; Garnet Elmore; Pat Elmore; Fern Jeffries; Doris Jeffries; Louise Jeffries; Helen Swearingen; Davis Williams and Lida Stout. Prayers were recited by the Savia Club of St. Bernard's School. Selections were played on the organ by Mrs. Joyce Fry. Mrs. Elmore, widow of Charles I. Elmore died Saturday afternoon in Culver Hospital. -- kbz
